What to do during May in Barcelona? We tell you all about it!

The good weather has arrived and with it many alternatives to enjoy the city. May is full of events for all ages and tastes. From aTemporal we have prepared a complete list so you can enjoy this month as it should be. Take note!
1.- Time Out Fest: The fourth edition of the Time Out Gastronomic Festival is coming. On this occasion, 16 chefs from renowned restaurants in the city will participate, who will cook a variety of dishes and delicious desserts that promise a unique experience for the palate. The event will be held at the old Estrella Damm factory on the weekend of May 25 and 26, from 11:00 am to 23:00 hrs. In addition, there will be live music and many surprises.

2.- Fira Literal 2024: will celebrate its tenth edition from May 24 to 26 at the Fabra i Coats venue. On this occasion it will give prominence to the female presence with renowned guests such as Angela Davis, Vandana Shiva, Rita Segato, Sara Ahmed and Marina Garcés. The program offers a varied agenda of activities related to current affairs through conferences, interviews, etc. All activities are free of charge.

4.- 48 hours, Open House Barcelona: Barcelona is a city known for its emblematic buildings and spectacular architecture. Some of these buildings will be open to the public, under the slogan “hidden and surprising places‘’ between May 21 and June 7. 5.- May Festival of Badalona: It is four weeks full of activities, popular celebrations, around the co-patron saint of the city, San Anastasio. These festivities are characterized by a host of activities, but especially music. For example, on May 18, Me cuesta tanto olvidarte will perform a tribute to Mecano in the Plaza del President de Tarradellas at 22:30 and on May 26 you can enjoy concerts by David Ros, Maambo! and the Kanalla Orchestra in the Pompeu Fabra square from 13:00 hrs.
