Easter is here, 4 days of festivities and many ideas that invite you to spend a special and entertaining time, along with living the meaning of these important dates.

Easter has always been synonymous with the famous Easter monkeys. All the chocolate shops in Barcelona and their master chocolatiers design authentic works of art, which are great fun to admire in the city's main shop windows. 2.- Easter processions:

These dates are full of celebration, but they also have a tone of recollection. This year 2024, Holy Week began on Palm Sunday, on the 24th of March and ends on the 31st of March, Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday. In this context, various activities will take place, such as Stations of the Cross in the different districts of the city; here are the times and places:

- 18:30 h.: Procession of Our Lady of Sorrows from Sant Jaume church.

3.- Walking and hiking:
Another great plan that invites you to enjoy the outdoors and discover spectacular places around Barcelona is to plan a hiking route. One alternative is to visit Salt de Sallent, the highest waterfall in Catalonia, and enjoy a beautiful hike and breathtaking views. Another option is to climb La Mola, which offers magnificent views of the whole Vallès, the Pyrenees and Montserrat. 5.- Eat the legendary Bunyols de Cuaresma:
these are doughnuts made from flour, fried in oil and coated in sugar. They are also called bunyols de vent (wind bunyols) because they have a very airy dough, as if they were empty inside. They are delicious!
