The neighborhood:

Poblenou is one of Barcelona's favorite neighborhoods. It has become a powerful hub where technology companies and research facilities are concentrated. The popular @22 district and the Pompeu Fabra University are located here.

Nearby you will find all kinds of stores, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Within walking distance is the beautiful Parque de la Ciudadela, one of the main green areas of the city, as well as other tourist attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe and the tree-lined Paseo de Sant Joan. 

Another great advantage of this neighborhood is that it faces the Mediterranean. The beach is just a few minutes walk away where a variety of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues fill the area with life, and where people enjoy drinks and tapas overlooking the sea. 

The nearest metro stations are "Marina" (L1) and "Bogatell" (L4). In addition the bus station Barcelona Nord is located very close, this is one of the most important stations in Catalonia and has national and international connections.
